  • Do not take the drug if you are currently using a nitrate-based medication to treat chest pain or heart problems. • Taking Viagra Soft Tabs with a medicine containing nitrates can cause a sudden and severe decrease in blood pressure.

Contact your doctor or seek emergency medical help if your erection became painful or lasts more than 4 hours. A prolonged erection (priapism) can seriously damage the penis.

Stop using the drug and seek emergency medical help if you experience such side effect as sudden loss of vision.

Before taking the drug

To make sure that you will not have any side effects, tell your doctor if you experience any of the following conditions:

  • Heart disease or heart rhythm problems, ischemic heart disease;
  • Recent heart attack (within the last 100 days);

The PDE5 inhibitor can reduce the flow of blood to the optic nerve of the eye, causing dangerous side effects – a sudden loss of vision. A few men who experienced this side effect had heart diseases, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or some pre-existing eye problems, also those were men who smoked and men over the age of 50. Nowadays, it is not known for sure whether eyesight loss was a side effect or not. Stop using generic Viagra Soft Tabs and seek emergency medical help if you experience a sudden loss of vision.
